SEEKING (LUNCH AND DINNER) PROFESSIONAL SERVERS FOR VERY HIGH VOLUME RESTAURANT.
The Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders; entering orders quickly and in proper sequence; serving food and beverages for guests in their section as well as other sections; coordinating with the kitchen to ensure timely service and quality of the food; and providing the highest quality of service to the customer at all times; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.
This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the General Manager and/or Assistant Manager depending up requirements.
Essential Functions:
Follows upscale fine dining service guidelines according to company service standards; provides information about products and looks for opportunity to "up-sell"
Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, checks back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction, observes guests to respond to any additional needs
Maintains table and overall restaurant appearance while providing excellent customer service.
Presents check for payment and provides change as needed
Follows customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures. Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately
Perform other duties in a team effort during downtime which may include rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing food for the To-go areas and properly cleaning and filling table condiments (salt & pepper, sugar, napkins, ketchup and mustard bottles)Ideal Applicants
Must be at least 18.
Requires . Servers can potentially earn between $1200/wk - $2900/wk
Familiar with POSiTouch / Shift 4 POS Software
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Customer service experience required in a fast paced upscale environment
Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Maintain a professional business appearance attitude, and performance
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in a fine dining setting
Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
